Hi all, I was searching for some Ottoman Turkish manuscripts which hosted in Egypt libraries. But I couldn't find any online catalogues... How can we know where a particular manuscript can be found in a manuscript collection/ library in Egypt?
The answer is, apparently there's no online service for accessing to catalogues of libraries in Egypt. If you need a manuscript first you should check it from "Fihrisü’l-mahtûtâti’t-Türkiye el-Osmâniyye" which partly can be found in pdf format with a good search on the internet, and then go to Egypt yourself or find someone who can help you there in order to get a copy of a particular manuscript...
