Colleagues, kindly assist me with the most current reference materials on comparative linguistics and reconstruction. I am interested in the studies not more than five years old.
I would recommend looking up recent studies using Google Scholar (or a similar search tool) and, from there, looking for articles that cite them (such as Google Scholar, Scopus, etc). As long as you have access to Google Scholar, this is a good way to search the literature.
For the future, you can also use Google Scholar (as well as platforms like ScienceDirect, Scopus, etc.) to set up e-mail alerts, so that you will receive a notification whenever new papers are published in your area of interest (or by a specific author, in a specific journal, etc.). This is an easy way to keep up with the newest things coming out in the field.
