Hi, way back when we started using in vivo tumor models, we performed an initial side by side comparison experiment using different immunocompromised mouse strains, performing s.c. and intracranial transplantations of primary patient-derieved glioblastoma cells. We focussed only on tumor uptake rates there, though. We saw no differences in tumor uptake between NMRI and athymic nude mice there; though both were lower compared to SCID mice, but growth rates were comparible. As we had to keep an eye on pricing, we decided to go for the NMRI  from then on and we are still using them until now. Unfortunately, we didn`t check for differences in vascularization. This we only took into account performing our subsequent experiments, comparing different experimental groups. Not exactly what you were asking for, but myabe the information might be helpful considering different mouse strains.
