I am searching for known non-inhibitors of Angiotensin Converting Enzyme and HMG CoA reductase which are not binding to them. Can anybody an tell me where I can find the names of small molecules as negative control?
Hi Sujata, can you clarify your question? Compounds that do not bind ACE or HMG CoAR are automatically non-inhibitors.
Yes Dr. Stefanson, I need the name and molecular formula of few compounds which are not binding to ACE or HMG-CoA. I am doing some in-silico interaction studies with the known inhibitors of those targets, for that I need some negative control.

Hi Sujata, if you need negative controls, (non-inhibitors) for your studies, then you should be looking at isomers, enantiomers, etc of your real enzyme inhibitors.

Absolutely, stereoisomers have characteristic and they do not bind with enzyme or not inhibit them, will be the negative control........
