My department is getting into 3D printing and we have requests from surgeons to make 3D prints from a patient's DICOM scans. Are there rules &/or regulations to this process? Some of the prints have been used to help educate the patient about their condition, but some requests have been for a surgeon wanting to use the print to plan and practice a procedure. Thanks!
