I am researching causal inference in business processes and need to find a large database representing an enterprise business process over time. I think a set of database for SAP or Microsoft Dynamics AX would fit the bill.
Alternatively, are you an officer of a company that would be interested in participating in this research by providing such data (de-identified by data masking)?
Hi Leroy, this may be a tough one to obtain since it would likely cover transactional data which is typically not for public disclosure. Might be possible to approach an organization who provides testing or benchmarking services as they may be able to create a masked extract. You may also want to approach one ot the SQA members since the deal with test data all the time.

Leroy, I would suggest that you contact the Global University Alliance of LEADing Practice which has done openly the framework that folks like SAP and IBM need as underpinnings and use for Enterprise Business Practices and Processes. These are generic but are templates based on what your needs or what you have to operate with.
I would also like to share with you that I'm currently also involved in the LearnPAd EU project (http://www.learnpad.eu/) coordinating the Demonstrators work-packages. The LearnPAd platform covers two application scenarios from the Public Administration domain.
1. European Project Budget Reporting - refers to the activities that a public research body has to put in place in order to manage the administrative procedures related to the participation to a European Research Project. It regards the definition of models and documentation for a business process that does not cross the border of a single organization.
2. Sportello Unico Attività Produttive - refers to the activities that the Italian Public Administrations have to put in place in order to permit to entrepreneurs to set up a new company. It refers to a more complex inter-organizational BP scenario involving many PAs.
