As a previous scientist in the field of astrobiology, I don't think that there exists any real evidence for panspermia at all. If there was evidence, we would have found extraterrestrial life. #edit: Researchgate printed only 20% of my response and I'm not willing to re-write this. Someone at researchgate should fix the bug that line breaks introduce cropping of messages.
