I represent University of Zielona Gora in Poland. It is young university, but very promising. Our research unit was established 4 years ago and we have been making the research on determinants of innovation in regional industry systems in Poland since then.

We gathered data from more than 7000 companies from all 16 regions in Poland (from peripheral to leading regions) and build a unique statistical data set.

In the meantime we published more than 300 papers about innovation determinants in industry systems (innovative cooperation, business cycle, technology levels, R&D etc.) at national level.

Presently we plan to go global, but Polish economic data alone are not very interesting for international scientific journals so we are looking for foreign partners who are interested in sharing national data with us for comparison and publications. Our domestic papers includes likages, proximity, sources of information for innovation, barriers, effects, knowledge transfer, innovative cooperation.

Our survey concerns innovation at the firm level and takes into account the diffusion to the "new to the company."

We are open for any kind of area of cooperation, but presently we are looking for data to the paper about business cycle and innovation activity.

We gather data in binary format (0-1). If you are intersted as independent variables we concern: incomes withing last 3 years: increased (0-1), decreased (0-1), no change (0-1) whereas

dependent variables include innovation activities divided into three general groups including: (1) expenditure on research and development and investments in fixed assets not used so far (0-1) such as a) new buildings, premises and land (0-1); b) machinery and equipment (0-1), c) computer software (0-1) (2) implementation of new products (0-1), implementation of new technology processes (0-1): production methods (0-1), non production methods (0-1), supporting systems (0-1) and (3) an innovative collaboration with the following groups: suppliers (0-1), competitors (0-1), customers (0-1), leading domestic (Polish) Scientific units - Polish Academy of Sciencies (0-1), universities (0-1), national R&D units (0-1), foreign R&D units (0-1).

We use single variable probit methodology to describe probability of innovation activity, bua we are open for any suggestions.
