As we know education is to empower someone,it is only possible if we have effective communication.Effective communication is only possible if the message delivered by the health care provider is specific to need of the audience(target oriented) and understandable to the patient.. For this, before we plan to prepare a message,it is important to know the baseline knowledge, attitude and practice of the particular community for those we want to prepare the message. It is also necessary to get information regarding the sociocultural factors and cultural sensitivity which is important to implement any programme especially sensitive issue like HIV/AIDS Their different methods of patient education as hoardings, message through TV and radio, but the best method is interpersonal communication i.e., counseling to change the behavior. So holistic approach is to involve various methods of education to spread the message in simple and vernacular language for patients from rural background and in urban well off families we can use the language they can understand.Before implement the patient education programme, pilot study should also be conducted, so that we can improve the message, medium and way of communication., if there are any shortcomings.

Consider them human being and to be behaved like as if he/she is normal person . Knowledge is better cure.
