How could we define and perform Sentiment Analysis based on Semantic Web technologies ? What about ontologies as a mean to express semantics ? Are they of use in the Sentiment Analysis context ?
I've attached a couple of recent research works on Sentiment Analysis using Semantic Web technologies. Both of them blend natural language and semantic concepts in order to measure the "weight" of a sentiment and classify it, rather than using a simple ontology which could be proved inefficient or tricky for something like this.
