My team is currently conducting several systematic reviews and developing practice guidelines about the novel Coronavirus COVID-19. While I have noticed that most of the published data focus on outcomes other than the mortality rate which is more clinically important from my clinical point of view. Most of the published studies do not report the reduction in mortality. I'm looking for any published studies about drugs that can reduce mortality in COVID-19.

There aren't any published reports as of now that I'm aware of but many countries have found using chloroquine + zinc a success. Yesterday Japan announced that favipiravir was clearly successful and is showing good results.

i think since the anti-viral for Covid-19 has not been invented yet, the treatment is based to the symptoms. Many cases showed that the main symptom is in the repiratory system, most of that refer to pneumonia. In the development of the disease, in every department can has a patient particularly come to the clinic in other main problems, but confirmed Covid-19 later. We can say Covid-19 is like a 1000 face disease, so that still the treatment based to the symptom.
Still i believe that do the hygiene, social/physical distancing and keep the immunity in our body well to fight this pandemic.
