Are there any possibility to Regenerate an Ancient King's Palace (1st century) into a Commercial + Leisure Space?

I was proposing an urban regeneration project for the ancient King's Palace located in Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka, (1055AD) to make it more income oriented as well as to conserve their historical values.

I just wanted to check some possible options to make it more attractive.
