I wish to know if there are any plant species that have NCR peptides but have determinate nodule growth as the NCR peptides are found in IRLC genomes.
NCRs peptides seem to be produced only in legumes that form indeterminate nodules (Terpolilli et al, 2012, Advances in Microbial Physiology Vol 60,pp.325-389)
My earlier question was also related to this type of thing. Thanks for response but the reality is Leucaena glauca has indeterminate nodules but doesn't have NCR peptides.
That is true! Not all the legumes that form indeterminate nodules produce NCR petides..But NCR peptides seem not to be produced by legume forming determinate nodules.
If NCR peptides are related to bacterial differentiation then the zones must differ in indeterminate nodules of Medicago truncatula & Leucaena glauca.
