Accelerating a fatigue test is dependent on the specimen type. Fatigue tests of welded joints can often be accelerated using Paris' law -- but it is important not to change the mode of failure if the test is accelerated by increasing the applied load--very important with plastics. You can also remove the low load cycles from the fatigue spectrum.
To accelerate fatigue test, one mat use Step Test which uses DNF (Did Not Fail) concept. It basically means, apply a load and let the test run for 10,000 cycles. It the specimen does not fail after 1000 cycles, keep on increasing the load in Step wise fashion and at each load step run the test for 1000 cycles till the load at which it fails determining the fatigue strength or endurance strength.
