My research work is on application of biochar on soil fertility and soybean yield.
I performed RBD, 3 replication, 8 treatment experiment and studied soil properties, plant nutrients and soybean grain and biomass yield. Study area - different soil and rainfall zones in Maharashtra (western districts).
I wish to publish this work and searching for an Indian Journal
My PhD institute- Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai, does not allow students to publish in paid journals. Most of the Indian journals related to agriculture require payment of publication fees. Some of them require on acceptance, some of them require for submission.
Can you please suggest journals which does not have such requirement?
Why dont you try Indian Journal of Agricultural Sciences published by ICAR....
If you like to publish in Iraqi journal I can help you without fee.

@ Dr. Srivastava, I am trying to get in touch with them to check if a manuscript of ~ 9300 words is acceptable to them and about the typical day span between submission to decision. The email id I found on the web is: [email protected] however mails to this id bounce back.
@ Dr. Samarrai, may I request you to name one or two indexed journals? I am exploring journals with a reasonable time from submission to decision. Because of some administrative situation.

If the Indian journal is published by a scientific society the author(s) has/have to become member by paying the subscription. pl visit www.indianjournals.com

Swaminathan Chitraputhira Pillai Respected Sir, the annual subscription model is fine. The link www.indianjournals.com lead me to a search engine/ pooled journal submission web interface. There are many journals in this website.
I will be grateful, if by experience you could advise name of 2-3 journals, which do not levy publication charges and have reasonable review time (submission to decision. they may further publish it according to publication cycle). Subscription is workable.

Indian Journal of Experimental Biology is also a good Indian journal having international repute.

And 19 require publication fees.
1 does not have this requirement. However it is on climate change and sustainability. I haven't found their website, the Indian Journal ppl aren't willing to share editor's email id.
Although my msgs sound like a pessimist. I am a solution oriented person. However this situation is particularly putting me in a stuck up situation.

I agree with Ravindra Kumar Kurimella NAAS rating above 6 do not charge any fees but they have certain standards set a new crop, concept, idea to publish in this case Soil research

In NAAS and UGC approved list you can get in google
There are many journals and they do not charge any type of APC but your work should be sound enough as per journal standards. Otherwise, you can go for some open access journals having good repute and there may be a chance of increasing NAAS or IF. But NAAS is not an important factor, it is better to choose a good journal.
