One of the main advantages of the team teaching approach is that it allows for more intense and in-depth interaction between trainers and students. Are there any (successful) examples of applying this training method in the field of Forestry and/or Wood Industry in higher education institutons?
Work Experience in Forest (WEF) is a compulsory part of Course curriculum for B.Sc Forestry student (Graduation in Forestry) in India that amalgamate some sort of Forestry experts interactions with student for six month. In this tenure student get a lots of experiences concerning practical knowledge of wood process industries and forest management strategies.

In Brazil, there are several research groups and courses in Forest Engineering, in addition to several post-graduate programs in this area. In our university (Federal University of Lavras) we have a course (degree) in Forest Engineering, as well as a Post-Graduation Program in Forestry Engineering and a Post-Graduate program in Wood Science and Technology. I participate in the Wood Science and Technology research group (http://www.prpg.ufla.br/ct-madeira/).
