Just one to add: Human-Level control through Deep Reinforcement Learning. This is probably one of the coolest thinks right now (at least for me). It's an autonomous atari game playing agent using a combination of Deep Learning and Reinforcement Learning. It comes with an excellent paper and you find the link to the code on the site as well:
