Well, I don't see as God's work , but I do know that to a large extent it is a trail and error set !! Experienced doctors too have this method working for them ...
It is a mistake to perceive medicine as scientific. Although some aspects can be understood and accepted within scientific paradigms often their understanding of science goes little further than functionalism. The idea that drugs, the common treatment of doctors, equates to science is in line with medicines propagation that human bodies are merely entangled chemicals and genes and no more. This represents a belief, an ideology that principally serves the medical profession itself.
Let me share a small miracle. Yesterday I wasn't feeling like going to work, so I took the day off. Coincidentally my vehicle which carries 20 of us to office broke down yesterday and it didn't take any of them to office. Similarly God is watching over everything. It might be possible that the placebo effect of medical science is working every bit perfectly and made the world believe that doctors exist. Maybe, may not be.
Love that Rumani. In fact the placebo effect can justify many doctor's claims. Where some of my papers are concerned (you read I believe power and perception?) their first response is often-'think of the patients'-in other words they will lose trust in doctors and thereby their treatments will not work.
There is a great deal less science in the profession than people realise and more bluff than anyone wants to admit. They are about power, not proof.

There is a Russian saying: "В здоровом теле, здоровый дух"/ "In a healthy body, a healthy spirit". If a man feels healthy, one's spirit drives up irrespective to established medical standards. Yet, happy people are less prone to get seek, as compared to the depressed ones. Hence, there is a certain mutual dependence between one's physical health and one's spirit. Driving up one side, chances are high that the another side would be elevated as well.
Yeah Science arose when we tried to understand What God is. Before human understood what is what, we had muscles, blood, lungs and heart, as humans. Can we bring a dead man back to life? I've observed top medicos admitting to the patients prior to a surgery that, "We would do our best and the rest is with the Almighty" There is a Supreme, I believe, which rules us, and is beyond human understanding.
People say that "God saves a safe person" (it seems a Russian proverb "береженного Бог бережет"). Now medicine has achieved a lot. God himself was pleased that science, including medicine, should develop for good and peaceful purposes. On the other hand, there is still an Arab proverb that "hope in God, but do not forget to tie the camel." Thus, God always protects us, but at the same time, we must take appropriate precautions, including medical ones, at the same time.
