Are the genes cloned into pT7 blue vector expressed in E. coli K12? No DE3 and IPTG induction! The vector has T7 promoter upstream, any experience?

If the genes could be expressed, I can avoid transfer to another plasmid

Hello ! what kind of strains is it (the shuffle one ?) otherwise I am not sure that If they are not labeled as DE3 you will be able to do IPTG induction. This cell line is usually worth it for biofilm studies, not sure for expression ?
