Extracts of fruits, herbs, vegetables, cereals, and other plant materials are rich in polyphenols. Polyphenols are rich in conjugated benzene rings with high electron density. Can the concentrated extract of these plants acts as a conductive substance to impart conductivity for textiles, papers or non-conducting polymers? If yes, to what extent would the conductivity of the treated polymers be? Can the treated polymers act as semiconductors?
