I want to measure the light intensity for a xenon lamp, but I do not have access to a lux meter. I have a 'light meter,' however, that has been used to measure the Photosynthetic Active Region (PAR) of sunlight. I am wondering whether I can use that light meter to measure the light intensity of the xenon lamp. Am I going to get the light intensity for only the visible light region, but not the UV and infrared? I want my light intensity to be in watts per square meter (W/m2). I found some formula to convert the unit W/m2 to lumens/ m2, but some websites say they are not convertable. I am a bit confused and am hoping you can help. Any suggestions?
