I would like to analize AFM images in order to determine the number and size of elements in the different images in order to take averages and do statistical analysis.
I'm a total newcomer to the topic and for what I have been told, Fiji is the most extended ImageJ distribution for such tasks. But so far al the tutorials I have found -as well as previous experience of my coleagues in the task- are restricted to the analysis of fluorescense images.
Hence, given how different contrast works on AFM images, are there any special plug ins suited to suck tasks on AFM? Or in case it doesn't exists, which special care or preadjustment I should make to the image to avoid problems with the analysis?
