I was just reading an trying this paper out

Zn/V2O5 Aqueous Hybrid-Ion Battery with High Voltage Platform and Long Cycle Life (cathode) and zinc anode (positive) , like they say in the paper. When I charge at 2-3 volts, zinc gets plated on my grafoil wit v2o5+graphite. But it seems to be irreversible. Can someone tell me what I maybe doing wrong?
