These are the two I use most in appraising survey work.

Glad to see you received links leading to checklists above.

I surmise that you may not be looking at quantitative information, but if you are, you may also find the document reached through the link below to be helpful. I ran across it on the Internet several years ago, and thought it was very good, but then it was not always easy to find after that. However, I was happy to recently see that it is available on ResearchGate now. I have shown it to others, and it is rather good.

In addition, the UN has survey procedure documents, and I know that US survey agencies have reports that have to go to the Office of Managent and Budget (OMB) to clear their surveys. Statistical agencies also have technical notes for their official data which describe them, providing metadata. I could provide some of those links if interested. I don't have UN links handy, but hopefully you could find them on the Internet.
