I am interested in examining the effect of PEF treatment on the yield and quality of bioactive compounds. I am using PEF as a pretreatment for the extraction of plant bioactives primarily derived from waste. For example, anthocyanin from mangosteen rind or dragon fruit. I need a reference as to whether the PEF treatment that can improve the yield and quality of the bioactives?
Yes, it was my previous undergrad research. I used PEF for milk preservation. This method applied television component "play back" and connected with double timer. You can order to cable man and read a book. The title is modern food preservatives.
