As when i add variables (serial mediation with 2 mediators) in amos the values of direct relationships (IV and DV) get change and didi not give the same as in spss
@Lubaina Yes results of AMOS would be different from the results of multiple linear regression in SPSS. AMOS works on latent variables while SPSS works on observed variables thus difference is obvious. As you mentioned that you checked for serial mediation (don't know whether you used latent or composite variables) which makes the model complex and thus the results would be significantly different from SPSS.
