The most important is the column - for this application you can use a packed GC column with porapak Q stationary phase.

You have both detectors that you need (Md. Saiful Islam is incorrect). CH4 you will see with the FID and N2O you can see on the ECD. You can either run the detectors serially (column to ECD, ECD effluent to FID) or split your column effluent. I like the Poraplot capillaries for this kind of work; multiple column vendors sell them.
