My co-authors and me want to submit a paper to Journal of Tourismology. According to the submission procedure we have to suggest at least one reviewer, so we need a volunteer reviewer (name, e-mail and institution).
Thanks a lot for the invitation...Usually, when we suggest names of reviewers, it is not necessarily that the editors will take from them reviewers for this article ... Mostly this is just a system that follows to submit the article ... Most of the editors have a group of reviewers who appoint them to review their articles ... ... Therefore, you can suggest names of scholars with their e-mails, specializations, and affiliations, because caution must be taken as it is not permissible to suggest reviewers from the same authority as the authors ’affiliation ... I wish you all success ... My sincere gratitude, Doctor.
Dear Dr. Manal Hadi Kanaan thank you for your immediate answer. I know that is not an obligation for the journal to choose the suggested (by the authors) reviewers. Other journals (such as ''Sustainability'') provide a list of potential reviewers, but ''Journal of Tourismology'' does not. This journal only ask the authors to suggest a name as part of the submission procedure.
Yes, I know and agree with you about that...You can suggest my name if you want...It is my pleasure and honor to provide any assistance that I can...My sincere gratitude, Doctor.
Querido Profesor Alberto arnedo-pena gracias por su disposición a ayudarme. La doctora Manal Hadi Kanaan expresó su interés antes. Ya he declarado ella como revisora. De nuevo muchas gracias.
Don't worry about that. The journals have their list of reviewers. Nothing will happen if you don't recommend anyone. It is usually a formality because the journals already have their reviewers more or less known.
