SOMFA is used to derive the relationship between structre & biological activity of compound. May be this program has become obsolate as it is not used by anyone recently. Somewhere I read that SOMFA uses only first PC in model generation. Is anyone still using the program? Does the program uses PLS & other stat regression methods? Is there any limitations in using it? Is the analysis of models built easy?

I have used LQTAgrid QSAR method in most of my previous work which is very good method and gives options to use user opted statistics to build models. Actually I wanted to combine SOMFA with some other methods like LQTAgrid and see the outcome. So wanted to know someone who has used SOMFA in their work.
