I need to measure zeta potential of dispersions in organic solvent NMP DMF. I can't seem to find the material of the electrode, what polymer and it is compatible with the solvents.
Just for reference, in the Malvern Zetasizer system the solvent-compatible dip cell is made of PEEK (Polyetheretherketone) and the electrodes are Palladium. The dip cell can be used in conjunction with either glass/quartz cuvettes or with plastic (polystyrene/PMMA) cuvettes, depending on the sample used.
Dimethyl formamide (DMF) is compatible with PEEK
N-methhyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP) is also compatible with PEEK. (see for example https://www.victrex.com/~/media/literature/ko/chemical-resistance-brochure----4_4.pdf )
