I am looking for various examples of researchers using various forms of arts-based methods in mixed methods. For example, Peggy Shannon-Baker has used drawings in addition to surveys and interviews, analyzing each individually and collectively. How else are researchers using the arts, analyzing and integrating the results in mixed methods? Looking forward to hearing your insights!

It is an interesting topic! In my research project of recreational abalone fishing in Western Australia, I applied filming to illustrate my arguments through the participants' and my own reflections from an auto-ethnographic perspective. The short film provides a richer visual illustration of the findings of my ethnographic approach to data collection and sits alongside the textual account. Additionally, my methodology involved Multi-species Ethnography; filming is a reflexive and experiential process to observe and understand the non-human species in the researcher's surroundings (Sarah Pink, 2009).

I am not sure as the method is not traditional. The short video was part of my thesis. There is a brief introduction on Youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mpusbM_3JdM). Some of the footage was provided to NGOs for local environmental education campaigns. It may be one of the best outputs of academic research:)
