One of my project are related with the application of Amylose beads assembled during the enzymatic reaction using DgAS and sucrose as substrate, and I wonder if it is possible to crosslink chitosan or something that produce chitosan during this reaction in order to obtain an Amylose bead crosslinked with chitosan.

Hi Andres, you want to crosslink chitosan that has -NH2 functional groups to amylose resin ( https://www.neb.com/products/e8021-amylose-resin) that has -OH functional groups.
I have never tried this, but get a copy of Bioconjugate Techniques by Greg T. Hermanson.
It has techniques to activate -OH groups for reaction with -NH2 groups.
Not is amylose resin, but is amylose beads synthesized by DgAS. but yeah it also has -OH groups.
