In my research I have to measure the amount (mass/concentration) of cellulose, CNC and glucose in acid hydrolysis for developing a kinetic model. However, glucose can be measured directly using an HPLC, but then I cannot measure for cellulose and CNC.

Take a sample. Dilute with a measured amount of water. Filter the dispersion through a weighed ceramic filter to separate the cellulose. Determine the cellulose. The filtrate is sent to the measurement of nanocellulose using the DLS method. Filter through a weighed semi-permeable membrane or ultracentrifuge. In the filtrate, the glucose is determined by liquid chromatography.
