I am trying to write up a code in psychopy which presents visual stimuli while I record EMG (electromyography). This EMG addition is new to me so I am not sure how best to proceed with time stamping and/or triggering. I want to be able to discern to the millisecond when I presented the stimuli and what the EMG data was at that moment (subsequent to this moment..etc..). Can I do something with the optical output such as the Sendtrigger (101) code? Any help (as I am sure you can tell I am slightly outside of any sort of comfort zone) would be greatly appreciated!
You can tape visual tracking with the EMG or track EOG and EMG.
I use Labview to generate visual stimuli and record emg signal (with a National Instrument A/D device) at the same time.
