Hi friends, I have been analyzing a protein family, called Fibrinogen domain related proteins, commonly called FReD or FREPs. I confronted with problem that C terminal part of this family proteins is pretty conserved (approx. 70-80% similarity), BUT very diverse and N- terminal (approx. 10-20% similarity). To me it was quite rare finding, neither I'm so expert in protein science. I was wondering if anyone familiar with such class of proteins. Can name them please?

Plant Hybrid Proline-rich Proteins(Py PRPs) is one such family of protein with a diverse, hybrid N-Terminal and a conserved C-Terminal. Plant hybrid proline-rich proteins (HyPRPs) are putative cell wall proteins consisting, usually, of a repetitive proline-rich (PR) N-terminal domain and a conserved eight-cysteine motif (8 CM) C-terminal domain.
