I'm working with a dissertation resaercher who needs an instrument for a qualitative interview protocol on sustainable supply chain issues. She has been unable to find anything and we are trying to avoid developing the questions from scratch.

Some of my prior work on environmental management systems with an interview protocol and survey may be helpful as the questions are generalizable and translate well to supply chain systems. Thank you! She's got a good plan for her work. It will be a qualitative approach to investigate what holds leaders and clinical staff back from implementing more green approaches to clinical supplies. We have a few hints about clinical reluctance to change but her work may uncover barriers that have not yet been identified and suggest ways to overcome them.

My sustainable supply chain dissertation focused on global consumer products. Since degree conferral, I expanded my research to global fashion, food and beverage. Qualitative interviews were a poor option for my study. I received too many non scientific opinions.
It took time but I turned to industry and executed a Delphi Study. Note, Delphi may not be the perfect answer because the sustainable SC expert community is very small. Lastly, match sure your scope is narrow.
I have consulted in bio-pharma, medical device, and healthcare delivery industries. The SC's and reach are difference.
