I recently started doing cell culturing and collecting samples for a new study but now, only a few biopsies and weeks into the study, I'm almost loosing track of my different samples. The number of flasks, different samples and so forth is just inflating so quickly it is hard to keep up. Today, for example, I did FACS and therefor doubled the amount of culture flasks!
Does anyone have a good Excel-template or other method on keeping track of cell culture work? I want to journalize passage numbers, confluency, media changes etc. and somehow quickly get a good overview on the progress on completed work and what is left to do with each patient sample. Any thoughts about labfolder.com and labguru.com? Other software that can do this simply for you? Any tips are greatly appreciated!
Well, I know it can be done in Excel, it's just a matter of getting a good layout, which I'm horribly failing at.
