My query is:
1. When we run a multiple regression it gives us a overall significance value for the model done taking into account all the independent variables (ANOVA table)
2. It then gives another table with the coefficients of the individual independent variable.
3.Suppose the p value of the overall model is >0.05 and the 2nd table shows significance with just one independent variable what is the interpretation?
4. Suppose we run a liner regression for that particular significant independent variable alone and get both the model and coefficient p value to be significant what is the interpretation.
Thank you for your help.
