I am currently working on a project to measure nursing students` learning outcomes. This project will be guided by ELT. Any researcher has any information about applying ELT to measure nursing students` learning outcomes?
Dewey's experiential guidelines to start off. Then, you could take a look at Icons Project to find a suitable simulation for nursing, or adapt a simulation or even create your own.
Situations / Real Time Scenarios will help students understand better, For example if you want them to teach time management, you can use 100 of slide or instead you can create a real time scenario (in this case you can take help of experienced nursing staff) and see how students are doing it and the learning there of..... mind well there is no direct teaching.... but learning students will discuss about their experience and leanings.......You can take help of Blooms Taxonomy or also Reverse Blooms Taxonomy....to understand this better....
