In my IF experiment I need a positive and a negative control of my target protein, so i need to know which tissues express the highest levels of the protein of interest and also the one with the lowet expression of the proteins of interest but in mice! Any suggestion?

I use Immgen Gene Skyline (http://rstats.immgen.org/Skyline/skyline.html) to have some sense of the expression level in different tissues although it is not a exclusive databases and some cell types are missing.
But you are right that once you know a tissue is highly expressing that gene, it is ideal to have that specific tissue control, although the same antibody with the same conjugate might work in the positive control tissue but not necessarily work in your tissue of interest.
I am following the author's question. And I hope to find the useful answer to understand the expression profiles of genes of interests in mouse tissues.
