Hi

I seem to be getting these artefacts on brain tissue sections that I have stained using a free floating method, dehydrated in ethanols and then cleared using xylene. The mounting agent is DPX. The artefacts only appear after a couple of weeks or so.

Any suggestions on what the artefacts might be would be greatly appreciated. Even better, suggestions on how the artefacts could be avoided please.
