What the kind of weed?
- The weed has seed i remove by cutting, tilling machine.
- The rhizome internode weed only remove by hand.
For weed control residue retention or mulching is the best solution. Intercropping can be another option as it does not allow space for the weeds to grow. Power weeder is good for problematic weeds. Stale seedbed technique is also a good choice. Many scientists are advising directed spray of vinegar for weed control in spaced planted crop.
For insect control you can use Trichoderma app for many insect and soil borne diseases. Many fungus are available for control of soil borne diseases and insects. Many laboratories are providing bio pesticides for insect control. Tricho cards can be tried in sugarcane and rice crop for control of borers.
