Soil water characteristic curves have an important role in the evaluation of unsaturated soil property functions. The procedures proposed to estimate it are approximate but are satisfactory?
I am looking for different perspectives and analysis of current laboratory test.

Thanks for your reply Dear Prakash, I am looking for more detailed laboratory test restrictions ( i.e filter paper method, tamper cell, Fredlund equipment),
The key point about the material is a great start, what is the recommended test for a particular material or what kind of test may I combine to check if the SWCC test is really giving me the true "Soil water characteristic curve"; or may I think in an envelope of some different tests (measurement range of each test).
