We performed a direct comparison method and a comparison by climate zone, elevation range, location, and years.

We are looking for another parameter to add in the comparison of satellite and terrestrial rainfall data.

You could also look into the rainfall distributions (e.g. for the regions you already analyzed) or only consider rain rates above certain thresholds or percentiles.
