I am trying to obtain transport properties of a half metal material using Boltztrap. In fact this material have different band structure for every spin.Now for calculating transport properties the spin polarize or non-spin polarize must be implemented?
In principle, an electric current in half metal material should be considered as the sum of the spin polarized currents for spin state majority and minority. So if mechanism of scattering depends on the direction of the spin, you should consider separately the current for every spin direction. If such a dependence is not expected that these currents can be summed.
