Dear all,
I am trying to do constant triaxiality RVE analysis using ABAQUS. I am following http://www.sciencedirect.com/science...49641911000052 . Before going for full analysis, I tried 2D single element test with user defined MPC. I made use of spring element, equation constraints and user defined MPC as explained in the paper.
But it seems that MPC is not working. After applying the displacement in one direction, I am getting deformation in other direction similar to the condition as if there are no constraints.
I think I am missing somewhere in the modelling part.
I have attached a slide explaining the problem.
It will be great if someone can help me.

With MPC, I don't know, but I have used the effiscient method proposed by Lin based on an User ELement subroutine (the solution is very close to the MPC one)

I need to perform similar simulations as done by Prof Cihan Tekoğlu but got stuck with the MPCs. Did you find any solution for your 2D case? Seems there is something wrong with your A matrix.

I have managed to apply the MPC used in Tekoglu's paper. I used DOF mode in MPC and kept A as 1 and defined the function in UE=....
