Finally Got the answer from USFDA, the Division of Drug Information in the FDA's Center for Drug Evaluation and Research.

Chlorpeniramine maleate is approved by FDA to temporarily relieves the following symptoms due to hay fever or other upper respiratory allergies:

sneezing

runny nose

itchy, watery eyes

itching of the nose or throat
