I am working on Rheocasting study of Al alloy in Rapid Slurry Formation (RSF) process. In this process stirring of the alloy is carried out with the help of stirrer of same metal like melt. But stirrer is in solid state, so in this RSF process enthalpy exchange is being carried out. Comparison of DSC analysis of A356 alloy (As-cast, cast by the conventional casting method with 0.6% Al-5Ti-1B, and by RSF process with 0.6% Al-5Ti-1B) . In exothermic reaction a additional peak around 6100C is observed. Repetition of experiment was carried out for multiple times but there was same kind of behavior in every time. In earlier study of the same alloy with same grain refiner has been carried out but no one has reported such kind of peak. I also tried to search in literature and on internet but not able to find the causes why this is happen. So can somebody help me out in resolving the problem.
