Beside the usual routine registration and periodic vaccine coverage rates, Any idea on how to conduct a rapid study to evaluate an already existing vaccination program for defaulters in a remote poor area with no access to primary health care services?
maybe you can do an economic evaluation of vaccination program either partial (cost or outcome analysis) or full economic evaluation ( Cost-minimization analysis, cost-effectiveness analysis, cost-utility analysis, and cost-benefit analysis)

Thank you Dr. you are right.. a household survey was performed to identify defaulters.. & a program for vaccinating them was achieved for 2 years.. what we need now is advices on how to conduct a post-program evaluation .. best regards.
If you have reason to think that you have immunized the vast majority of defaulters, then why are you looking for a post-program evaluation of this particular program vs. using scarce resources for other priorities? If you think that you are still missing a significant percentage of defaulters, then consider going back and using Dr. Habib's approach - i.e., determine reasons for continued hold-outs and try to address them.

Thank you for bringing the question to such a useful discussion.. & may be it's time to add some update & details about the project.. the project location is an area of mobile farmers that are in a continuous move between a geographical area of 3 different governorates.. most of those farmers are out of law & no possible exact number of the total beneficiaries can be obtained.. the families refuses to give any specific information about the number of under five years children they have & vaccination was performed by mobile remote area team as an out reach activity supported by a local NGO.. each child vaccinated by the team was given a card numbered with notes on the vaccination he/she had.. and only the children born on 2016 were allowed by their tribe leader to be included in the program..
at the initial survey (I can call it screen) .. not all of the houses were allowed by the tribe leader to be included in surveying for defaulters.. & Now.. after 2 years .. the NGO is out of fund & in favor of ending the project ..
Thank you, Rajaa A. Mahmoud for this information. It sounds like this has been a very difficult situation and also that the last line of your response is going to be the bottom line. If I understand it correctly, it sounds particularly unfortunate that you cannot get access to the entire migrating population of children since their migration, were they to develop a communicable illness, could lead to spread of that illness wherever they migrate. I assume it is not possible to encounter them at borders between governorates and make evidence of immunization be a condition of entry.
It is in fact 100% as you described.. a very difficult situation.. as these people are actually moving like nomads with many outlaws, all solutions we had in mind were difficult to be part of a solid tracking policy.. & YES.. they were in fact the source of Measles outbreaks since 2007..
