Hello.

What assay system and what treatment did you perform?

Antioxidants also have dose dependency, but several act as pro-oxidants inversely at high doses.Also, if you treat cells with poorly soluble, i.e., crystalline compounds, like macrophages, for example, they may act like PAMPS/DAMPS, then they may activate the inflammasome.
